TSM Annual Meeting

The Texas Society for Microscopy invites participation to the 52nd annual meeting in 2017. The meeting and the workshops will be hosted by the Center for Microscopy and Imaging at Baylor University on February 23rd – 25th 2017. The workshops are open to everyone and will be held on Thursday, February 23rd 2017 at the Baylor Sciences Building. The convention (lectures, poster presentations, and vendor fair) will take place on the 24th and 25th of February 2017 at the Waco Convention Center in downtown Waco.

1st call: Monday, 3rd of October 2016 (1st call for abstracts, registration details for the convention, details for hotel reservation)

2nd call: Thursday, 1st December 2016 (2nd call for abstracts, registration details for convention and workshops, and details for hotel reservation)

Final call: Monday, 16th of January 2017

Details about the meeting, directions, final program, and schedule will be send out at the beginning of February 2017.

Deadlines:
20th of January 2017: Abstract submission
23rd of January 2017: Hotel reservation
27th of January 2017: Advanced registration

PLATFORM PRESENTATIONS will be scheduled for 15 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes for questions on either Friday or Saturday morning. If you have a conflict with one of those days, consideration will be given to your needs if they are indicated on the original submission forms. Otherwise, you will be expected to present at the time scheduled by the program chair. If you need more time for your presentation (up to 30 minutes), please specify it on the submission form. Please, prepare your presentation using PowerPoint and bring it to the meeting on either a flash drive or CD.

 

POSTER PRESENTATIONS: Posters will be displayed on poster boards measuring 36” by 48”.
